Coach’s reason for recognition: “She won the individual regional bowling championship this weekend and will be heading to the state tournament Friday, coach Liz Moritz said. “This is the second year in a row that she has been the regional champ. Last year at state she placed sixth.”

Reaction to honor: “I’m very happy that a bowler was chosen, because they need more representation.”

Student’s goals: “I’ll be attending Iowa for a master’s in electrical engineering and a minor in Japanese.”
