Coach’s reason for recognition: “Mary Kate put in over 250 miles this summer so that she could improve her cross country time and help the team fill some varsity spots that had been vacated by graduation,” coach Jane Wheeler said. “Mary Kate is very positive, coachable and hardworking.”

Goals: “I want to continue running as long as I can because I love it so much.”

“I don’t know if I want to compete yet, but I definitely want to soak up these last couple of years.”
