Hand injuries and finger decapitations are common injuries during the winter – thanks to people mishandling their snowblower. ORA Orthopedics’ hand surgeon, Dr. Justin Munns, explains the steps you can take to make sure you operate your snowblower safely this winter.

According to Dr. Munns, injuries often occur when operators don’t take time to let the blades of their snowblower stop turning and are in a rush to clear the machine of ice so they can finish the task at hand.

Please be careful this winter!
