Explain explained everything in detail and answered all my questions

This was my first time going to Dr. Andrew Bries, and I was very satisfied. He did a good job answering my questions and concerns about shoulder pain I still have after having a reversed shoulder replacement performed by a different surgeon about a year ago. I had forgotten to ask him a couple of questions, and he came back in to answer those which amazed me! By the time I left my appointment we had a plan to try to help lessen the pain.

Love Doctor Bries! First saw him in 2013 for torn meniscus in left knee. He did a fine repair and all has been well with the knees since then. Saw him as well in 2016 for some tendinitis in shoulders. Got that under control and fast forward to now I just saw him for right shoulder pain. Diagnosed as a rotator cuff tear. Prescribed physical therapy which starts tomorrow. Highly recommend Doctor Bries as he is very professional, cordial, as well as having a sense of humor.

I ended up becoming a transferring patient for Dr. Bries. His team and himself were ready and prepared with all the answers and concerns about my surgery. They were very clear and communicative and straight to the point with my final diagnosis, risks, complications, what to expect, and was happy to answer any questions I had. I definitely feel comfortable in having my surgery preformed by him and his team as they dealt with my case as quickly, efficiently, and effectively as possible. They were attentive when it came to communicating and if I have any concerns I have no problems reaching out and getting answers. I just felt understood and like my case was important to them just as much as getting better is for me. RESPONSE UPDATE: I went in for my pre opt appointment and the assistant was absolutely amazing to talk with. Meeting Dr. Bries and his team as they took over my case so swiftly it only took two appointments to know I was in good hands. The pain was consistent and of course I’m still recovering, the new pain that comes with surgery is the healing kind as it feel right again instead of the one that pains my whole arm down to my fingers. As of now I feel comfortable with having Dr. Bries and his team with any other cases for the future and if need be, for my children as well. The surgery was successful and done so swiftly that now I’m excited and hopeful once again to be able to do normal things eventually again like picking up my toddler. I could not recommend Dr. Bries and his team more!

Very detailed and anwsered all my question

I was seen by Dr. Brees yesterday (1/30/2024 ) at the Bettendorf facility. My wait time was under 15 minutes and I was shown to an examination room where within 10 minutes I saw Dr. Brees. He had me undergo X-rays for my left shoulder. He performed a series of range of motion tests further to determine how well I was healing. Additionally, he had me do several resistance tests to determine how strong my left shoulder was. He has done anexcellent job replacing my left shoulder. I am in physical therapy now and progressing well. I highly recommend Dr. Brees and the doctors, nurses and staff at ORA.

Dr. Bries has been my doctor for 6 years. Have had a gluteus medius repair, shoulder replacement, & knee replacement. Dr. Bries & his wonderful team I highly recommend. Has always been there for me, answers all my questions, & trust him.

Dr Bries is an amazing surgeon and does a great job at explaining what your issue is, and how he will go about doing the repairs. This will be my third surgery with Dr. Bries. My right shoulder after rotator cuff repair is back to 100%, and I have no doubt that the left will be also. He also called me from his car phone after my first surgery later on that day to see how I was doing. How many patients can say that their surgeon has done that? Kudos to you Dr. Bries. Dr. Bries has been excellent from the beginning! From our initial consultation in the emergency room, through surgery and our follow up care after our daughter fell at gymnastics and broke her arm.
