While I rarely leave reviews, ORA Orthopedics is most deserving of one due to their outstanding service! I had a very positive experience there and highly recommend them. Dr. Shay is extremely knowledgeable, took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns, and put me at ease. All of the staff is friendly and efficient, and provided excellent professional and courteous care!

Good doctor
My experience with Dr. Shay was positive and pleasant. He listen to my medical history regarding how and why it was currently effecting my feet and ankle. He ordered appropriate x-rays first to see what the condition of my feet and ankle are in gave me a couple of options to try first. Without going directly to a more costly MRI to determine the tru extent of my ligament damage. I know that that it is there but want to try less invasive methods of treatment first. So he was willing to work with me and try. Because Iβm and after explaining my situation he agreed with me too help extend the life of my ankle and help with the pain in my feet, with as minimally invasive equipment as possible.
Dr Shay is great at listening and explaining things. The staff is very kind. As scary as my foot condition is, I always feel better when I leave there.

Dr. Shay is direct and to the point. To fix my hip pain while walking my foot would have to be aligned. Surgery is scheduled.

Wonderful experience! We were able to get our 2-year-old seen right away in the morning after breaking her foot the night before. Nurse staff was great and Dr. Shay was very helpful and responsive. She was casted and we were back home within an hour!

Thanks to Dr. Shay and the staff at ORA I can continue to live my best life. I was facing the posable amputation of both of my feet. Dr. Shay provided me with a second option, reconstruction of my ankles. Now a can continue to walk and do all the thing I once took for granted, I am grateful for what Dr. Shay and ORA has done for.

I had the "Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy done four days ago by Dr Shay and his team at ORA. The procedure takes about 45 minutes, where they drew my blood, put it in a machine to separate the plasma from the white blood cells,...and then Dr Shay injected the PRP into the area of my right Achilles tendon, where I have been having pain from Achilles tendonitis along with a small tear. I am required to wear a boot for a month to give it time to heal. The purpose of the PRP is that it stimulates the healing process. I am hoping that this works so that I can avoid surgery, which would be much more invasive. In previous appointments I had an MRI and Dr Shay explained my options. The PRP made the most sense to me.
Doctor Shay is one of the very hard to find, competent doctors. My experience has been that he examines, diagnoses and treats all in the same visit. He has treated me on multiple issues and I am impressed with the results. I will search him out for any issues that I may have in the future and recommend him to anyone who is in need of his services.

Dr Shay and his team were amazing. From my first appointment for diagnosis to my last appointment to confirm successful reattachment of my ankle ligaments, I felt informed, heard, and considered. The staff was responsive to follow up calls and considerate to my concerns and questions post surgery. I highly recommend Dr Shay and the ORA team.
This was my 1st time seeing Dr Shay and I was very happy with his overall professionalism, interpersonal skills and knowledge. His approach was very good, he listen to my situation and concerns, made a very timely diagnosis and explained several treatment options. we had personal concerns over one of the treatment options. he listen and HEARD our concerns and he quickly pivoted to another approach that we really liked. If needed, I have no concerns about going back to him in the future.
Dr Shay has done 9 successful amputations on my husband's toes and feet. He had a great demeanor and his staff is great. The best part is my husband is still able to walk. This dr performs miracles.

Overall it was a great experience. Dr. Shay performed my surgery and was my initial contact after my first couple of visits I worked with his assistant Cheryl Ehrlerβ¦β¦. She was Fireworksβs and took care of me and listened to me and was the factor that got me over the hump.
