I found Dr Hodge to be very knowledgeable, kind, and willing to spend time with me answering questions and/or explaining things. Good guy - would highly recommend him!

Dr. Hodge was very nice he asked what was wrong did an exam told me what his thought told me what he thought about was going on and the path I should take and he gave me a cortisone shot in my hip didn't hurt as much as I thought it would I would see him again

Dr. Hodge diagnosed my problem quickly and was very kind and knowledgeable. He gave me a great option to solve my issue and recommended I return if it doesn't get better.

This is my second joint replacement surgery performed by Dr. Hodge. He is kind, attentive and skilled. Answered every question and took time. Never seemed in a hurry. Always made me feel comfortable and at ease. Dr. Hodge is such an asset to our community.

I was very pleased with my visit to see Dr. Hodge. He had a good bedside manner. He listened to my situation and gave me options on what I could do for treatment. I decided on a steroid injection. His technique was precise and quick. I was expecting pain but again his technique was so good that I barely felt it!

Very plain talking explained all options even what may have been best for me even if it meant not for them

My son had a bucket handle meniscus tear that happened 2 weeks ago and Dr Hidge and his team did a great job getting him in quickly so he can have a full recovery before his wrestling season starts for his senior year. He explained everything in great detail and had amazing patience for myself and my son with all of our questions.

ORA was able to fit me in for an injection right before my trip. My procedure was quick and painless.

Dr. Hodge was great as usual! Offers possible options but focuses on the best treatments for the betterment of his patients. BTW, if he keeps bulking up, he might need a bigger exam room 😉!

Dr. Hodge has explained the process well for my ACL injury. Surgery went well with not much pain after and two days later I was starting physical therapy. Although recovery is a long slow process Dr. Hodge has always let me know timeframes to expect.

Appointments are quick. Very little wait if any after they check you in. Dr. Hodge was personable, knowledgeable. Discussed possible other treatment besides a steroid injection to my right knee and his experience with the outcome of both treatments. I absolutely love this doctor!! He knows what he's doing, he explained to me what arthritis is and what my knee looked like and the treatment for it !!!

After injuring my knee playing ball, I began searching for an orthopedic specialist — and that's how I came across Dr. Hodge at ORA Orthopedics. I had previously torn my ACL, PCL, and MCL ligaments in my opposite leg, so I had some idea of what to expect and was specifically looking for a surgeon specializing in sports medicine. He completed an assessment, walked me through the best- and worst-case scenarios, and clearly explained what would happen next. I had X-Rays and an MRI the same day, and Dr. Hodge personally reached out later that afternoon. He explained that to maximize the chances of regaining full range of motion and mobility, it was important to repair the injury as soon as possible. He made several calls to find an available operating room, aiming to schedule my surgery for the next day. I truly appreciated his effort and diligence to make it happen — and he did. Dr. Hodge booked an operating room at Unity Point, and I had surgery the following day. Every injury experience is different, but from tearing my patellar tendon on February 2, to evaluation on February 4, to surgery on February 5, I feel my experience was as smooth and positive as it could have been. If you experience a sports-related injury (or any orthopedic concern), I highly recommend giving Dr. Hodge an opportunity to help.

I had a reverse shoulder replacement. After 6 months I am doing very good. Dr Hodge did a great job. He took extra pains on the incision and it is getting hard to see. Keely and Lacey helped me with therapy. They had me moving good in about 10 weeks. Thank you all.

Dr Hodge was very good. To the point and I like that.

My appointment was over within a half an hour I had little to no wait. ORA is so organized everything just moves smoothly. Dr Hodge was great he explained everything to me he even explained why my leg was crooked at the knee (I'm knock kneed) he put a steroid injection in my knee just minor discomfort. 24 hours later I'm still having knee pain but I'm hopeful it will get better. I highly recommend this orthopedic practice.

Saw Dr Hodges for shoulder pain I'm having since my stroke. My dr thought it might be my rotator cuff. It wasn't. Dr. Hodges was thorough and explained things so I could understand.

I had an appointment with Dr. Hodge at ORA in Moline, IL on 9/12/24. He was very courteous and explained what was wrong with my left shoulder in terms I could understand. I have a torn rotator cuff which cannot be repaired because of arthritis and severe osteoporosis. He gave me a cortisone injection which has helped the pain and mobility magnificently. Best my left arm has felt in months. Kudos to Dr. Hodge!

Dr Hodge treated me for a severely broken ankle; open fracture of the lower tibia and fibula. He and the entire staff were great in the care I received over my 3 months of recovery and I’m very grateful to be able to walk without walker or cane. I had my final visit after one year under Dr. Hodge’s care. I’m so pleased with the outcome after such a traumatic injury. Dr Hodge is caring, easy to talk to and an excellent surgeon. Although at my age, arthritis has set in, which the Dr warned me about, I can walk at least 2 miles fairly comfortably and am generally able to do what I did before the fall. I’m very appreciative of all he’s done for me.
