Very friendly staff. Had cortisone shots in knees. As soon as I was called back to get the injections in my knees , Dr Stewart came in very soon. I didn't have to wait. He did the injections and I was out of there. Lol. Very good Dr.

I have been going to ORA Orthopedics for the last few months for knee pain and was ready for replacement. After researching, I knew that I wanted to use Robotics for this procedure, and that is when I found Dr. Stewart. My initial wait was over 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment, but it was well worth the wait. I had already had an MRI from ORA, but Dr. Stewart wanted to see X-Rays. What?? I thought MRIs showed more. Boy was I wrong. When Dr. Stewart walked into the exam room, I knew from the start that I was in good hands. I mean, he already had my x-rays up on his laptop and just started to talk to me and my spouse, which was in the room with me, as we knew each other for years. Very Personable, Professional and knowledgeable, that is who Dr. Stewart is. He took the time to answer all of my, and my spouses, questions and concerns. After he interpreted and explained the x-rays to us, we knew exactly my issue, no question. Niki, his assistant, came in and set everything up.

Dr Mark Stewart is a very friendly person and an excellent doctor. He explained how he would do my trigger finger surgery. Several years ago he did surgery on my right wrist and forearm when I broke it. His staff is very friendly too. The wait time was longer than I expected but he is a very busy doctor. I definitely would recommend him to others who need orthopedic care and surgery!

Thanks to ORA'S Jeffifer Tayler, I have some relief from arm pain. Her carefull exam shows there is a problem and hopefully inflammation is all. But if this doesn't stick, and PT doesn't work, I will turn to Dr. Mark Stewart for surgical option.

I have had a wonderful experience with ORA . I have had 5 surgeries since april of this year. my first doctor was DR Clark and he is very good. my second DR was and still is DR Alen Edward's he is the sweetest most caring Doctor i have ever met. you won't be disappointed at ORA. I also went to PT in Bettendorf and my Therapist was Mark he is also the best! I am so impressed with the care I have received and the way I have been treated while at ORA both the Moline and Bettendorf offices. 😍

After having major surgeries on my hips in Iowa City I could not find anyone that would help me when I had more minor issues. Dr. Mark stewart was one of the best doctors i've ever come acrossed. My daughter had broken her elbow, and he perform the surgery which went smoothly, considering the circumstances. He was very kind, not like most doctors, he seemed to genuinely care about my daughter's well being in health. I was very grateful for him and will always be for the work that he did on my daughter. I would recommend him to anyone. He explained things well, he was very good with my daughter, which is ten years old. Made her feel comfortable, and talked her through her fears going under anesthesia. I have to be honest, he is one of the best doctors I have ever met.

Dr. Mark Stewart is a wonderful individual and surgeon. He is kind, courteous, funny, and incredibly thorough. He repaired a meniscus tear in my left knee along with a thorough joint cleaning. This is the second procedure he has done for me - the first was a rotator cuff/labrum repair 14 years ago. He made sure I knew all the preparations and risks involved with the meniscus repair, and that I knew how long I would be off work. He highly recommended physical therapy after the surgery by explaining that it would increase the strength and mobility of the joint. I highly recommend Dr. Stewart to everyone - whether you need a complicated joint replacement, tear repaired, steroid injections, a physical therapy referral, or just a general opinion!

I saw Jennifer as a patient at the ORA Urgent Care in Geneseo for what ended up being a torn meniscus. She was very kind, courteous, quick, and most of all genuinely concerned. She took the time for a thorough exam, xray, and discussion of pain relief and brace options. Upon completion of her exam she set me up for a MRI with a referral to Dr. Mark Stewart for further consultation. I highly recommend Jennifer to everyone!

The X-ray ladies were wonderful! Dr Stewart was absolutely wonderful and he explained what he recommended to do to fix my trigger finger. He told me that the best thing to do is surgery to fix it and that he would make sure that I would be given medication to be relaxed and then numb my hand. I have faith in him because he fixed my right wrist and ulna when I broke it.

Had a great good night sleep, after receiving a shot of cortisone in both knees on 9 September 2024, I never woke up in pain. I truly am very grateful for Dr. STEWART!!! He truly listens to you.

This has been my 1st time utilizing the services of ORA. I was able to obtain an appointment quickly, certainly more so than the typical referral process. Each member of the ORA/Geneseo team has provided excellent service! Everyone has been courteous, efficient & knowledgeable. Dr Stewart has an excellent bedside manner & took the time to provide explanations in terms easily understood by both myself & my husband. Cindy was gentle applying the immobilizer I required, made sure my husband understood how to do it as well & encouraged us to call or come in any time we had questions or needed help. I am admittedly a picky person & am very pleased I chose ORA/Geneseo for my care following an orthopedic injury & would highly encourage others to do the same!

Dr Stewart always listens and offers suggestions with my care. I have had hip replacement by him which went well. I now receive steroid shots in my shoulders and knees. Dr Stewart takes his time and shows a real interest in how I am doing. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Stewart explained my X-rays and my source of pain, and we now have a plan for me to return to normal.

Dr Stewart has been treating my family for many years now. Having boys in football and wrestling, we have had the need for surgeries to repair broken arm, torn labrum, & torn ACL, plus just general casting of broken ankle. He is experienced and knowledgeable. He has a terrific bedside manner, he always takes the time to explain treatments thoroughly and answer any questions you may have. Although I know he has many patients, he never makes you feel like just a number. Although we first saw him because he was the physician on call in the ER the night of my son's accident, we chose him for the other three because he is a fantastic physician!

Dr. Stewart did a wonderful replacement of both my knees. He also fixed both feet correctly. The bunions had arthritis on top of bone. The pain of wearing shoes was unbearable. Thank you Dr. Stewart for your ablity to ease my pain, from arthritis.

Of course I was anxious to see Dr Stewart for my hip issue. But the staff were all friendly and very professional. Dr Stewart was very professional diagnosing my hip issue. Today I have no pain in my hip after the injection. The only item I have a question about, what was the "tendon" Dr Stewart and the nurse mentioned? It was supposed to be a hard name to pronounce and spell. Thanks!

Always receive outstanding support at ORA regardless of issue. This ws my first encoiunter with PA-C Mark Hichborn. Mark was exceptionally professional and highly personable. He explained things in a way that the lay person could easily understand and took time to share many of his experiences. I felt valued and "listened to" throughout the appointment. ORA is the best and Dr Stewart is awesome. I had my injections in my ankle/foot yesterday and the pain is completely gone. It’s a joy to be able to walk without pain. I had a right shoulder, rotator cuff with torn bicep. Dr. Stewart explained the procedure and how long recovery would take. He then performed Surgery well. I followed through with physical therapy. It has healed just as he stated. It is a long process. He has been understanding & thoughtful. He follows through with his patient.

Dr Stewart has an excellent staff and the wait time is short, and they do the X rays right at the office. He diagnosed my problem immediately and explained it along with all the treatment options and all possible outcomes. He is thorough and precise. He was able to put his finger exactly on the spot that was giving me the problem just from my description and knew precisely what was causing my pain. He is personable and friendly while also professional. He has helped me with several issues including knee surgery, and has successfully taken care of several of my family members with serious problems including total joint replacement. I highly recommend Dr Stewart. We are lucky to have him in this area.
