Had my initial visit with Dr. Berry to explore options/treatment for my lower back discomfort the other day. He was patient, asked a lot of questions, performed a couple of initial tests, etc. He did not jump to any conclusions, ordered some PT, an MRI, and scheduled a follow-up meeting. Liked his energy and his ability to outline a treatment plan that I am comfortable with.

Dr Berry performed a minimally invasive 2 level lumbar fusion on me and I couldn’t be happier with the results. He was very thorough, took time to answer my questions and listened to my concerns. His office team was super with responding to questions and calls and helping with needed paperwork. 10 out of 10 experience!

Dr Barry has done several of my surgeries. He is excellent, honest snd upfront with your cares. My most recent surgery was unplanned and an emergency. Dr Barry again was honest about what I was facing and as far as my daughter and I see it, he saved my life. This was a bad infection in the blood. Thank You Dr Barry. You are now and will always be my hero. I feel blessed every day Im alive. Highly recommend Dr Barry.

Dr. Berry is an excellent surgeon who does nothing short of amazing work. He made me feel at ease and comfortable throughout my injury. I had a total disc replacement between my C5-C6 and it honestly feels as strong or stronger than before my injury. Dr. Berry and his exceptional staff are top notch and I would highly recommend to anyone!

I work in medicine myself. I’m sure he can recite what he says to patients in his sleep. He seemed rushed. I forgot to ask, but it would have been cool to actually see my MRI films. He answered my questions but seemed to have one foot ready to get out the door. He did say surgery was not his first option based on my presentation. That made me happy!

I was referred to Dr. Berry for neck/shoulder pain. I had several surgeries over the past few years and was not wanting another. Dr. Berry came into the room, totally familiar with my case and explained what he saw and what he recommended. He was patient, kind, and answered all our questions. I had the surgery in Sept. and am so much better! I believe he diagnosed me correctly and saved me from much worse problems in the future.

Dr. Berry came to the exam room well versed on my radiology test results. He explained my options and made referrals to meet the needs of my case. While he was not able to perform the extensive and complicated surgical procedure required, he provided me with options to address my pain and directed me to medical facilities that would be able to perform surgery should I need/want it in the future. He shows a high level of compassion in his interaction with me.

Dr. Berry performed a miracle on my messed up back. From the time he was recommended, through surgery and then follow up he lives up to all the great comments that led me to him in the first place. Professional and caring with great staff. I hope I never have to have another back surgery but if I do, I would only use Dr. Berry.

I visited Dr. Berry after well over 12 years of back pain but earlier this year I pulled my back so bad that my L4 L5 were slipped and pinching the nerve down my leg. I couldn’t walk without a cane or a walker. End result is that Dr. Berry got me in and took care of me. I was nervous before meeting Dr. Berry but after meeting him and hearing his knowledge of my problem gave me confidence in putting my back in his hands. I was up at walking after 2 hours of my surgery, without a cane or walker. I haven’t felt this good in well over 12 years and can now sleep over 6 hours in bed without my back locking up on me anymore and no pain during the day any longer. Thank you Dr. Berry for the AMAZING job on relieving the pain I no longer have.

I had an appointment with Dr. Berry, I was about 15 minutes early and they got me right in. After I was examined he explained everything to me so I could understand stand what I was needing done.

Listen closely to what has been giving issues and then explained MRI and X-ray results and what he felt was the next step to get me back to as normal life as able.

I went misdiagnosed for years by numerous providers and therapists (15+) for severe low back/sacral pain. I saw Dr Berry who listened intently to my history and coordinated a diagnostic SI joint injection for me. It has been life changing and I can’t thank him enough for the time he spent with me. After 3.5 years of crippling pain I finally have my quality of life back and working full time again.

Dr. Berry was very forthcoming & communicative in regards to my surgical procedure & what to expect after surgery. He even came by my hospital room to check on me the next day. This was my first surgery &: he reassured me my operation was common & everything would be just fine.

Highly recommend Dr. Berry. He has now done my neck and recently my lower back. He doesn't do unnecessary surgery. He is straight forward, explains everything and why things need or not to be done. I am a person who chooses natural treatments. Dr. Berry listed to my questions and concerns and takes the time to make sure you understand what and why of things. Love the staff that work with him.

Well I don’t know how to start this off. Saying that Dr.Berry will go down in my book as a HERO !!!!! I personally believe he knows exactly what he is talking about when he comes into the room to speak to you and inform you on your prognosis.I being defiant with everything in life went against his advice and opted for a “shot” to kinda numb the pain til I could make it to the off season. Long story short it didn’t work long, til it did exactly what he said it would do and blew out completely demobilizing my left leg! Which the original problem was right side so it had gotten worse by 3xs within a months time! So I went back to the ORA to see the Dr.Berry again and he came in went right to work for me lined up surgery the very next day! Went in for surgery no hiccups or problems came out of surgery walking unassisted ready to go! I suggest anyone looking for a surgeon that is smart ,caring and that’s willing to take care of the issues you’re going through with your body pick him. Dr Berry in my opinion is the best there is!

Was great to not be rushed during my visit to talk about my back issue and come up with a solution to fix the issue. Had to wait a little longer than hoped in exam room, but I am sure he was talking in depth with another patient also. Good experience in all.

This place runs like a well oiled machine. I was in and out quickly, but not rushed. The staff is phenomenal and I spoke with my doctor directly over the phone to discuss my options.

Dr. Barry is a very good doctor. He takes his time and explains things very well. His "bedside manners" are excellent. He also did.my.neck surgery several years ago and I've had no problems. He will try other methods before doing any surgery, physical therapy, cortisone shots, etc.

Dr. Berry was very helpful, told me all of my options in a way that made it very easy to understand. I believe he was very honest with me and my diagnosis, gave me realistic expectations and helped me decide which route I needed to take. I know several people that have seen him and gotten the same treatment, and I am thankful I was able to get in to see him.

After two attempts to relieve my knee pain and numbness after my nearly year old knee replacement I appreciated your honesty when you told me the back surgery would not help with the pain I'm having, although I was a little disappointed , I understand !

Dr. Berry is a great doctor, he is direct and to the point. Had a knee surgery scheduled then back flared up again, he made it easy to know my next move. Difficult to do physical therapy after a knee replacement with my back at it's worse. He also treated my husband when he broke his back, definitely recommend him.

My first experience at ORA was wonderful, and I feel I will be in good hands once I start physical therapy after herniated disc surgery. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and efficient, even though it was extremely busy at the time of my appointment. The painkillers I have had to take lately make me really nauseous and disoriented, and the staff at ORA went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of. Dr. Berry is also very friendly and explained things respectfully but in such a way that I could fully understand how the procedure works. I trust that it will go very smoothly, but I will post another review in a few weeks :)

Finally a doctor who was straight forward with me. He explained to me what was actually going on in my body and that there is a solution! I very much appreciated that from my whole soul because I have been suffering for so long and I truly thought no one was going to come to me with a solution. I thought this was my forever, my future, a nightmare that’ll never go away. But it’s not and he made that clear and I thank you for that, Dr. Berry! Can’t wait to move forward!

Very thorough, and did a fantastic job on identifying the problem, and actually showing me my results from scans and x rays, not many doctors still do that, they just send ya home with a paper saying what's wrong, you did both. I'm both nervous and scared for this surgery, but excited that I'll be in your hands. Thank you again for your time!
