Love Dr Collins! Took his time a d really listened to what I had to say. I still have to have another surgery and I wouldnβt trust anyone else to do it but Dr Collins.
I was very pleased with the service I received from ORA and Dr Collins. The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to help me through the process. They could see I was in pain, and offered assistance in any way they could. Dr Collins was a delight to talk with. He asked questions about me and my life, was very honest with his diagnosis and talked to me in a way I could understand. Answered my questions, didn't rush me out like some Drs do, very personable.
I rate ORA Orthopedics and my Drs all 5. I have had 3 surgeries. Dr Connelly replaced both of my knees. Dr Collins did extensive surgery on my back. The appointments were on time and the staff was very courteous and friendly. The Drs were friendly, never made me feel rushed, always answered my questions thoroughly. The results of all the surgeries was very successful. I was in considerable pain with my back. I went from a 10+ to a 1. After all surgeries I felt better than I have in the last 7 years. I had no complications from either surgery.. I highly recommend the Drs and ORA Orthopedicπ
I was very happy with how I was treated. Dr. Collins and the staff at the Moline ORA were very thorough and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend them.
Dr. Collins performed surgery on my left knee; total knee replacement, in the middle of February of this year...the replacement has gone very well. Dr. Collins took his time with me; listened to my concerns; Dr Collins managed my pain well. Presently I am doing quite well.
Excellent work & through about answering all questions
I was very impressed with ORA and even more impressed with Dr. Collins
Clean building and professional friendly staff.ver helpful during my visit.
Fixed three levels in my neck been over a year never felt better knock on wood
I would like to thank Dr. Collins for the fine surgical skill and expertise provide during my TKR. Dr. Collins was cheerful, informative and, above all, a true professional surgeon. Dr. Collins assistant, Andrea, also provided guidance during the pre and post surgery. The nursing staff kept me apprised of how to manage my pain, and, they were responsive to questions and concerns. Rob Anderson PT worked with me pre -op which was superb. Post-op Alyssa Patterson guided, motivated and was instrumental in my progress moving forward; Alissa was instrumental in my recovery. Respectfully Aaron Doyle R.N., M.S.N.,
Dr. Collins was very friendly and upbeat. He treated me like an equal by looking me in the eye, shaking my hand and answering all my questions. I came away feeling positive about my treatment plan and future recovery!
Dr. Collins is a great surgeon he listens to his patients and helps figure out and makes a plan to make things better I personally had back surgery 10 years ago with success I would never hesitate to recommend anyone to him as he is a great surgeon and Dr.
Very friendly people and the doctor very clear about what is going on
Dr. Collins was very thorough in explaining my condition. He was attentive and answered all my concerns and questions. In this day in age where an older person might feel disregarded and told it's age causing a condition, he made sure to see me as an individual who wants to continue to be active despite it. A really personable Doctor! God bless!
First time seeing doctor Collins and it was a nice office visit I felt better when I left
I took a spill and my doctor recommended I go to the ORA Clinic in Moline to be checked out. The clinic staff was great and Jennifer Wilson, PA-C was fantastic. She answered all my questions and when the time came to drain my knee she did so very quickly with little pain. My follow up appointment went just as well. Ms. Wilson listened and helped me make the best decision on what type of treatment I should do next. If I ever need the services of ORA again Iβll be making my appointment with Jennifer Wilson, PA-C. Thank you!!
I ruptured my Achilles tendon on June 10th & I had received excellent from Dr. Collins, his assistant, Andrea Black & his orthopedic technicians from the beginning. On June 11th they immobilized my ankle with a cast. The techs who put the cast on my leg did a fantastic jobs. I was pain free afterwards. It is now 6 months post surgery 12/22/19 & I can say I am very satisfied/happy with my results. It has been a journey for me. ORA was very good to me!
He gets right to the problem! He takes action when itβs needed!! He has fused my cervical 3 levels he did a awesome job on that and also a laminectomy l4 l5. Would refer my loved ones!
The therapy is great. Therapist listened to what you have to say. The doctor that I had was concerned about what my aches were And gave me good suggestions as to Who I might see for them. Seems it was not a ORA problem.
Dr. Collins has been my orthopedic for years and am very satisfied with my care and the complete staff
I like my Doctors there. They are very helpful whenever I needed them.
This was the first broken bone for one of my kids and I wasn't sure what to expect. Dr. Collins explained everything very thoroughly. It was comforting to know what steps were next and how long the process would take.
The timely manner that I was taken care of and the results
Dr.Collins was great. His staff is awesome. Love his (PA ) Andrea Thomas. She is fabulous!
Dr. Collins was quick but very thourough. He put me at ease immediately and explained everything so i wasnt walking out bewildered. Him and his staff were very down to earth and I would recommend them to anyone!

Good experience. Dr. Collins is great.

Great care
Dr Collins is always informative. Offers different options for treatments. Staff is always kind and courteous! Appointments are right on schedule. No long wait. Dr Collins has performed surgery on a trigger finger-no more pain. Right knee surgery-no more pain. I highly recomment Dr Collins and ORA!!
Dr Collins seemed nice but I didnβt talk with him at length
They fixed my back. No more pain.
The staff is always so nice. Dr. Collins gives straight forward and honest answers.
Very caring doctors who really listen to you when you come in with aches and pains
They were right on time and very professional. The facility is beautiful.
Dr Collins was wonderful, Scared just thinking about back surgery!! Very kind and put me at ease, answered all my questions and even made me laugh!! Thank you Dr Collins
He is an excellent Dr, and great surgeon. He is blunt, to the point but knows what to do to treat his patients
Dr Collins did laminotomy surgery on me on May 24th 2018. He removed part of a herniated disc at L4 L5 and also unwrapped a blood vessel that was around one of my nerves. Iβm very happy that I got the surgery. He did a great job. I am 6 weeks out and feel pretty good. I am experiencing a little hip pain that i feel radiating in my knee and ankle. That is to be expected. I no longer have the horrible sciatic pain in my left leg/foot or the lower back pain. THANK YOU DR COLLINS
Very professional, extremely concerned about my problem. Guided me to the action's I should take. Wonderful staff, too.
I have had spine surgery with Dr. Collins as my surgeon & Andrea Thomas as his PA. I was in a great deal of pain. It is now 6 weeks since surgery. The pain that radiated throughout my leg all the way to my foot is gone... the nerves are healing & muscles relearning how to walk correctly again. Dr. Collins, I am very grateful for your direct answers to my questions & your surgical skill! It was a Godsend to see your thumbs up after surgery & a big smile! To not have the horrible pain is a gift. Andrea Thomas - is wonderful in explaining the healing process, and for her continued care in the upcoming visits for 12 months throughout my recovery. She really listens to oneβs concerns/worries & makes one feel better. From the beginning of this major event in my life, Dr. Collins, Andrea Thomas, P.A. , Kyle P. In Physical Therapy, and all the staff at ORA have been caring, concerned, & professionally excellent in their treatment of me! Thank you.
ORA HAS HELPED ME A LOT I GET GREETED WITH A SMILE WHEN I COME IN TO OFFICE. I WAIT TO BE CALLED ABOUT TEN TO FIFTEEN MINUTES. THEN I GO BACK AND GET EXRAYS OR WHAT EVER HAS TO BE DONE BEFORE I SEE DR COLLINS. I USE TO SEE MARY JO UNTIL SHE LEFT. REALLY LIKED HER TOO!! THE NURSES ARE KIND AND IF I HAVE TO RESCHEDULE I NEVER HERE A UNKIND WORD. I LIKE IT NOW THAT THEY HAVE A WALK IN A CERTAIN TIMES OF THE DAY. THE THERAPIST THAT I HAVE HAS HELPED ME A LOT TO (THANKS EMILY). IM STARTING TO FEEL BETTER EACH DAY. ALL IN ALL ORA HAS DONE ALTO TO HELP KEEP ME OUT OF PAIN.
A lot of people don't like Dr. Collins much but if I had to trust someone with surgery for my back, he's my pick! Because of him I can walk today! Maybe at times he might have a poor bedside manor and he does have nervous tics, but he's a very busy man and with Ins. Co.'s telling Dr.'s what they can and can't do, I can understand his frustration. I try not to judge people until I've walked in their shoes. If he didn't care about his patients and didn't care whether or not he helped them in any way, I don't think he would be so busy! I had fusion done at L5-S1 in 2007. Not what I wanted, I opted for disc replacement, but 3 weeks before my surgery our Ins. Co. sold out to another Co. who wouldn't cover replacement. My scaring is minimal and I still have the use of my legs thanks to him. It took about 2 years to completely heal which is common. He explains just as much as any other Dr. does when diagnosing a problem and discussing a course of action which is very little. They only tell you the bare minimum so write down your questions and ask if you want answers! I have since learned about nutrition and added Trace Minerals and Liquid Vitamins to my diet which is important to prevent further damage. I also learned about making Bone Broth with egg shells from Dr. David Williams for glucosamine, chondroitin and hyaluronic acid to help strengthen and rebuild joints. When you have vitamin or mineral deficiencies, your tissue weakens which is what happens to the disc. Once the disc tears, the scar tissue is easily damaged from lifting more than 10 lbs and you loose more fluid each time. You can't replace the disc fluid, to my knowledge, but you can strengthen the tissue by giving it what it's lacking. I have two more discs that were damaged and I'm doing my best to avoid another surgery, but if there comes a time that I need it, I will see Dr. Collins again!
