Dr Collins is a great back surgeon, unfortunately I have to have a second surgery. Nothing he did, I tripped over my dog and landed on my backside and hurt my back. It has been 15 great years since my first surgery, that was a level 2 fusion of the L4-L5, L5-S1.

Always available for questions. Dr does not waste a lot of time with chit chat but he gets the job done. I have been his patient for 6 years.

I am and have always been impressed with ORA. They are professional, cheerful, helpful and organized medical staff and Doctors. I have seen several Dr’s at ORA for my shoulder, wrist, sprained ankle, broken fibula, foot & now my back. I had spinal stenosis and had surgery in 2004 at a different facility but in March ‘2023 I fell down several stairs and was having some back pain. Very concerned and scared due to previous surgery that I might have done some damage. So I went to see Doctor Collins which I was referred to. He reviewed the x-rays they took the day of my appointment and said my rods and screw were still intact from ‘04 surgery and no broken bones. He recommended physical therapy for my back. Dr Collins has an awesome bedside manner. I was in and out of my appointment in 22 minutes. I did feel rushed but satisfied with process.

Dr. Collins has enabled me to enjoy a good quality of life with his knowledge and skill. He makes you feel confident that he can help you with your issues. Very honest. Very down to earth. He represents ORA with integrity and high standards. When you meet Dr. Collins you just assume that all the associates and partners have similar traits. I believe he has helped to create a nurturing and empathetic culture in the clinic.

I experienced back pain 10 years ago. The pain was awful and went down my.rigjt.leg since it was pressi.g om the nerves. . I took shots in the L4 and 5 area with fair results until last fall when the shots were no longer effective. I then consulted with Dr. Collins about the next step. He recommended a operation to stabilize my vertebrae with rods and screws. That made 100% difference. The pain is gone and I feel great. He did a great job!

I have been to ORA in Moline with my husband for a hip replacement many times. We have always been treated cordially and efficiently. The wait times have been very brief overall. Dr. Collins is very personable and competent. He projects confidence in himself and willingly answers any question or concerns we had. The surgery went smoothly and quickly in spite of how damaged my husband’s hip was. His whole team was kind ,considerate and helpful to us at all times. Overall, my husband’s hip replacement surgery was very needed, but made very bearable and pleasant by Dr. Collins and his team. Dr. Collins and Dr. Hashmi are hands down wonderful to work with. I had a laminectomy 5 years ago and he fixed me up great i was able to go back to my normal active fitness life. Flash to now and i now have a new problem and Dr. Hashmi has been so understanding and helpful ( especially dealing with a stressed bride to be) and having to go back to Dr Collins he once again was wonderful, caring, remembered me and i couldn't ask for better doctors taking on my lower back issues

Dr. Hashmi is the best doctor I have ever met hands down. He is my pain doctor and is also my biggest advocate. He has listen to me and knows my pain is real and has helped work with me to get seen by people who are top in their field ( like meyo & rush). Sadly I lost faith in my surgeon at ORA. He did preform both my surgeries well but when I started to have sciatica pain 4 months after surgery I felt like I wasn’t taken seriously. I felt brushed off since he couldn’t find the problem. It’s been 6 months and it’s only gotten worse so I am thankful for Dr. Hasmi for providing the best care as a pain management doctor and also being the one to go above and beyond to help try to solve the issue.

Dr. Collins preformed a procedure abbreviated to A.L.I.F. He inserted an artificial disc into L5-S1 for the fusion. He took the time to explain the risk and benefits of what I should expect from the surgery. Answered all my questions in-depth with great detail. He was amazing I would recommend him in a heartbeat. My family and I thank him very much for giving me a better quality of life

Dr.Collins is a great surgeon!I have had surgery in the past with him,he did a cervical fusion on me in 2016 and it was a huge success for me!I was treated promptly, once they got the MRI back showing that I had a pinched off nerve which was causing me severe pain down my right arm.He did a fantastic job with the surgery&the care was exceptional before &even after my surgery, his excellent care from the entire team was what made me choose him again!I was confident that when I hurt my low back in January of this year 2022 that I was going to go back to him to help me.The one thing that I would recommend is for better bedside manor this time as I wasn't able to raise my foot up,he seemed very annoyed with that&expressed that to me&it really bothered me because I truly had no control to be able to lift it up in that moment and wasn't trying to irritate anyone&would have really appreciated some empathy&understanding in that visit.I stuck with him despite that bedside manor because I had true confidence in his ability as a surgeon!He is fantastic &did a great job!I just recommend better bedside manner.

My husband Robert French saw doctor Scott Collins for his carpo tunnel and knee. He is a great doctor and has great bed side manor. I also went to him an injury very nice man. Everyone at ORA is very nice and efficient.

I had back surgery with Dr. Collins. Everything went great. I was kept comfortable in the Hospital and provided with adequate pain meds at home. To my surprise, pain was minimal. Dr. Collins' PA was very patient and thorough at my followup visits. I'm a retired nurse so my expectations were high. I feel they were all met.
