My visit to ORA Orthopedics in Muscatine, Iowa, with Dr. Hodge was exceptional. I received the care I needed, and my problem was thoroughly addressed. Dr. Hodge and the staff listened to my concerns and took the time to answer every question I had. I truly can’t say enough good things about my experience at ORA Orthopedics and with Dr. Hodge.

Dr. Hodge performed repair of my severe trimalleolar ankle fracture 4 months ago. He did an amazing job!! Now, 4 months later, I am walking with minimal discomfort. He has always been very kind, explained treatment well, and allowed time for questions. Thank you, Dr. Hodge and ORA staff!

Dr. Hodge was professional and attentive following a fall to repair my hip, performing a hip arthroplasty, July 2025. Every post op office visit has been efficient and patient focused with review of hip X-rays and discussing next steps to continue progress in my recovery. My outcome has been positive, many days walking 3+ miles. Thanks to Dr Hodge.

As always, interaction with Dr Hodge is enjoyable, direct, and to the point with no filigree or B. S. Jan 2024, he fixed a nasty break of my femur, the upper legbone part and it is doing great. Yesterday he gave me a steroid shot in my badly arthritic left knee and relieved most of the constant pain. Go back in 3 months to discuss how it did. If you want straight answers and meticulous surgery when needed, this is the Doctor to consult.

I had shoulder surgery on March 12th 2026. Dr. Hodge did not choose a “cookie cutter” treatment for me. He took my career and my activity into account and worked out a plan that best fit my lifestyle. It had been 4 months and there isn’t much I can’t do with my shoulder. My strength is back and the pain is gone.

I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment and filled out my information sheet, handed it it in and sat down to wait for my appointment In just a few minutes a nurse called me back we took a series of xrays. Then a few minutes later I went to another room and talked to Dr. Hodge. He explained to me what was happening with my knees and what my options were. I decided to have the steroid shots in each knee. Dr. Hodge gave the shots. Very painless I might add. I know it's early but my knees feel better already. Dr Hodge and the rest of the staff were very friendly and confidence inspiring. A very positive experience.

I been having alot of pain in my left leg and knee and hip. I been going 6 weeks to ORA PHYSICAL THERAPY. im still having pains and its effects my sleep. Dr said not much we can do about this that its going to take a while. 10 weeks already still in pain .it started In my lower back and traveled down my left leg. My balance is off and knee buckles . I do have neuropathy in both legs and feet so my feet are numb and stiff. Just started a new round of physical therapy and we are going to do pool therapy and see if that helps. Both legs are weak . Im just tired of suffering and nothing no one can do to help me be pain free.

I was very pleased with my visit to see Dr. Hodge. He had a good bedside manner. He listened to my situation and gave me options on what I could do for treatment. I decided on a steroid injection. His technique was precise and quick. I was expecting pain but again his technique was so good that I barely felt it!

My son had a bucket handle meniscus tear that happened 2 weeks ago and Dr Hidge and his team did a great job getting him in quickly so he can have a full recovery before his wrestling season starts for his senior year. He explained everything in great detail and had amazing patience for myself and my son with all of our questions.

ORA was able to fit me in for an injection right before my trip. My procedure was quick and painless.

Dr. Hodge has explained the process well for my ACL injury. Surgery went well with not much pain after and two days later I was starting physical therapy. Although recovery is a long slow process Dr. Hodge has always let me know timeframes to expect.
