I was very satisfied with the staff interaction before and after my hip surgery. I feel that Dr. Boardman answered all my questions and explained the surgery and aftercare very well. The surgery has allowed me to get back to my regular activity and work.

I fell and broke my wrist on a Friday and went to the ER. I saw Dr. Boardman the following Monday afternoon and he did surgery later in the day on Monday. He was very kind and reassuring. Dr. Boardman explained everything he needed to do during surgery that included plates and skrews. He kept me in the hospital overnight for IV anti- biotics and made sure I had adequate pain control. I woke up in serious pain post op and remember him standing by me and I was crying the pain was so bad. I was able to get pain meds when I needed them. He is simply the best and I highly recommend him.

I had a right knee replacement with Dr. Boardman one year ago. My knee is doing absolutely awesome. I haven't had any problems. I walk on the treadmill and ride a stationary bike 5 days a week. I walk up and down stairs many times a day, all with no issues. Dr. Boardman has been a fantastic doctor from start to finish. He loves his job! I highly recommend him! Sheri Nylin

Dr Boardman is such a nice man and was wonderful for my hip replacement. His office in Muscatine is very efficient and staff was very friendly! So glad he did my surgery and glad I had it done at Muscatine hospital! One of the best things I ever did!

How anyone could not give this man a five star rating is beyond me. His knowledge professionalism demeanor plus his patience are incredible. ORA should be very proud what Dr. Boardman brings to this practice.

Have to say I was very upset being sent home with no pain management. From all my other surgeries it is what I expected to stay ahead of the pain. But whatever doc did he made it so there was NO pain. Sore yes,,,obviously but no pain. Yes I have been getting some bad cramps in the surgery area and hopefully we can get these under control. But I am 9 days out walking with a cane only and happy to get my life back. Thanks Doc,,I was so very wrong, I did not suffer and each day is better then the last.

I had a consultation with Dr Boardman Monday the 29. The xray tech ( I didn't catch his name but he was very courteous and knowledgeable) took pictures my hip. A few minutes later I had a consultation with Dr Boardman. He showed what was wrong with my hip using the trays. He told what my options were. The Dr was very informative about the treatment and was very approachable. I'm grateful for his knowledge and advice. A very confidence inspiring visit.

Dr. Boardman performed my knee replacement surgery almost a year ago. He is amazing! He is so kind. He was so kind and caring prepping me for surgery, staff was also kind that day too! I couldn't go up and downstairs, do everyday life things. I go up and down stairs daily!! I have no pain and no issues! I'm so thankful. He has also performed surgery on my husband's shoulder, I think in 2020. He has no problems, feels great! He did a wonderful job! We highly recommend Dr. Boardman to everyone.

Doctor Boardman done my elbow surgery two years ago that's why when I started having trouble with my left hand I immediately went back to him he's a very caring person and wants to doing anything he can try to fix you very thorough good manners, doctor who actually has empathy for what is patients are going through not looking forward to another surgery but I picked doctor Boardman over anybody else if I have to have surgery. Dr. Boardman was a very nice professional Compassionate doctor to meet with. I felt like he was very honest and upfront with me very thorough. The only thing that would help would’ve been if his office had sent in my pain med prescription, especially since it’s over the weekend and they’re not open again until Monday, (I was in with a fractured hip, that’s not making for a comfortable weekend) but I would definitely recommend him if somebody had an orthopedic issue

I have the utmost respect for Dr. Boardman. I have personally worked with him in an OR setting.. He has excellent Sterile technique and treats his Patients as if you were his family.. I throughly recommend this office for any orthopedic needs! Dr. Boardman and his staff are wonderful! They listen, make decisions with you not for you about your medical care, and take their time with each patient. Which leads to my 4 instead of a 5 star review. The wait times are sometimes extremely long. I had a 10:55 appointment and waited until 12:30 before I saw the Dr. They are extremely busy and full. So I recommend not planning anything after this appointment because it is very difficult to determine how long you’ll be waiting. Also, may I give a shout out to Amanda the casting nurse! She is AMAZING!!! Do I recommend this clinic? Absolutely!!!!

I have been very pleased with my experience at ORA. Dr. Boardman is great, and so is the rest of the staff. ORA is a well oiled machine. The info they provide to a patient prior to surgery is so helpful. Most of my questions were answered by reading the materials thoroughly. The entire staff listened to my concerns and I was always encouraged to call if I had further questions or concerns.

Dr. Boardman took the time to explain how the knee muscles and tendons are connected, and explained using enough medical terminology to help me understand, but also not too much to where I couldn’t understand. Highly, highly recommend. If I ever have a need for an orthopedic specialist again, Dr. Boardman will be my first choice, regardless of the distance.

Had surgery on 3 separate occasions with 3 of the ORA doctors and each of them were amazing! If you need shoulder surgery, Suleman Hussein literally fixed mine better than it was before! Had an accident in September and Dr. Chesser put a couple pins in my broken ankle. Had super quick healing time and they were super attentive and answered all of my questions. This February, I fell and broke my wrist with a distal radial fracture, and Dr. Boardman put me together like a puzzle. Six weeks later and my progress is remarkable! Thank you all so much for your attentiveness and your pursuit of excellence!

Dr. Boardman is brilliant. His added talent is being able to explain a complicated diagnosis to where you understand it. In addition, I have had two procedures done that he did not recommend for my third similar problem because he diagnosed an overlying problem. Overnight I was in much less pain, and I still have a further appointment which he recommend recommended to a rheumatologist to remedy my illness.

Wow what a far cry from an emergency room had a weight lifting accident and needed help immediately was in severe pain and Boyden. They come through, they have me on my road. Recovery already and everyone was professional. Friendly helpful and caring loved my experience.
