Traffic Alert: I-80 On-Ramp Closure at Middle Road
Patients traveling to our new Bettendorf orthopedic campus should be aware of an upcoming road closure that may impact your route.
Beginning Monday, March 16, 2026 (weather permitting), the eastbound I-80 on-ramp at Middle Road will be closed as part of the Interstate 80/Middle Road Interchange Project. Construction will allow crews to build a new eastbound on-ramp, which is expected to reopen mid-to-late April 2026.
During the closure, patients needing to travel eastbound on I-80 should follow the posted detour:
Take the westbound I-80 on-ramp toward Des Moines
Continue to the I-80 / U.S. 61 interchange
Exit onto southbound U.S. 61
Use the entrance loop to rejoin eastbound I-80
Please allow a little extra travel time when visiting our Bettendorf location during this construction period.
