As Quad Citians swing into fall, which could arguably be considered the most beautiful part of golf season, don’t forget golf has its own type of injuries to avoid.

“It may seem like golf is a low level of risk sport, but it can cause injuries in the ankles, elbows, spine, hips, and wrists,” says Dr. Hussain. He notes a study in 2015 that cited more than 131,000  people were treated for golf injuries in ER and clinic visits!
