Only one problem I cancelled the appointment but in 2006 Dr Connolly replace both my knees in separate operations and they are both functioning today that says something!!!

These people heard the pain in my voice and got me in to be checked out very fast. Gave me the information and a plan to get me back on my feet as quickly as possible. I cannot express my gratitude or applaud this organization's zeal to help enough. Thank you ALL!!!

I had hip replacements in August 2021 and April 2025. The first one was a very fast recovery and I was released from care at 5-6 weeks. I was back to normal activity in a very short time. The second one was not as quick. I had issues with extended numbness and a rash at the beginning. I had issues with trying to strengthen my muscles and getting rid of a limp and getting rid of the cane. I felt very supported by Dr. Connelly and his staff during this process and was discharged at 4.5 months after surgery. I appreciated Dr. Connelly’s concern and support during the extended healing process. While I am not 100% yet, I am ready to finish building my stamina and strength on my own.

Dr. Connolly was wonderful! He went over everything with me, asked a lot of questions and truly listened to me! He took great care of me and I would highly recommend him!

Dr. Connolly is a wonderful Dr. One of the things I like the very best about him is his time with me as a patient. I'm a retired orthopedic nurse with a later specialty in geriatric rehabilitation. One thing I especially look for besides their skill is how I'm treated in the hospital or in the office. I understand he has other patients. I have never felt hurried or not all my questions answered. And yes, even I have questions. The staff is very friendly and Evan is always helpful. I feel these professionals are just that... professionals. Thanks to everyone's help after my recent surgery.

My wife and I have had many great experiences with ORA over the years. We've both seen Dr. Edward Connolly for knee surgeries, and most recently I utilized the ORA Urgent Care in Silvis for an ankle injury. I liked that I could go online and see the current wait times at all of their Urgent Cares (Silvis had no wait on the day I went). The staff in Silvis were great and there was no wait, just as promised. X-rays were quickly taken, and I was immediately seen by a Physician's Assistant. That visit led to a referral to ORA podiatrist, Dr.Christopher Collazo. This time the quickest available opening was at their Geneseo office. The ORA doctors frequently have hours at multiple ORA offices around the area, and we've also utilized the Moline and Davenport offices-- whichever worked best for our schedules. This was another great experience. Like Dr Connolly, Dr. Collazo was very friendly, professional, and he thoroughly explained his diagnosis and treatment plan. The Geneseo staff were also great. We trust ORA, refer friends and family to them, and in a couple weeks we will be having Dr Connolly perform a knee replacement at their Bettendorf surgery center.

I love Dr. Connolly. He's a Down to Earth nice guy. He was hip deep in patients when I saw him the other day, but he did his best to get to me any timely manner.

Dr. Connolly listens to your needs and concerns, and is responsive to you as an active participant. I have had both knees replaced by him and shoulder surgery. I live a very active lifestyle, and continue to as I age and slow down a bit! He has a great staff working with him!! ORA has an excellent team of Orthopedic Specialists that can cover all your orthopedic needs. If Dr. Connolly needs to he can refer you to one of his fellow physicians.

I’m having some issues with my TKR on my right knee. Dr. Connolly had me come in. He was very busy but we got the visit taken care of. We are moving to a bone scan of my right knee to see if a part of the new apparatus has failed with a dye injection followed by a bone scan. Dr. Connolly has my complete faith

I recently had a total hip replacement, Dr. Connolly was my surgeon. I am very pleased with the care I received. I have absolutely no hip pain at all. I haven't felt this good in years!! All of my questions were answered before and after my surgery. Dr. Connolly was very attentive to my concerns about what I should and shouldn't do, and explained and even demonstrated how I could still do every day tasks just a little different with my new hip. Everyone involved with my surgery and recovery were all very kind. From Dr. Connolly, his assistant Evan Witt, to the hospital, nurses, and physical therapists were top notch. Nice doctor , did injection right on the first visit . But again he didn’t know why I was referred to him. Didn’t understand why Sandar sent me to him ! I’ve been tossed around through ORA and still the ACTUAL pain hasn’t been addressed yet and given me any clear path to resolution of keeping my pain at bay .

I’ve been a patient of Doctor Connolly’s for many years. He, his PA Evan, and the rest of his staff have always taken very good care of me, and my family. I first met Dr Connolly in 2006 when he did an emergency hip replacement on my 87 year old father, a surgery I have found that most doctors would not have done with his heart issues. Without the surgery my father would have been in horrible pain, bedridden for the rest of his life. My sister and I have always felt Dr Connolly saved our father’s life. The surgery was successful and he lived with no problems with that hip for the rest of his life, 92 years young. Dr Connolly has done my arthroscopic knee surgery and right knee replacement which have helped my mobility immensely. This year doctor Connolly will be replacing my left knee, and I am looking forward to increased mobility and no pain.

I heard so many good things about Dr.Connolly before I met him. Coming into our first examination, I expected a good discussion. My experience was more than satisfactory. Dr. Connolly reviewed the previous hip replacement I had and we compared it to the strategy he recommended. I went in for a hip issue & given relief with a cortisone shot after xrays showed my fear of hip replacement was not a real fear. He has replaced our knees with great outcomes. He is always willing to spend time for questions.

Dr. Connolly is a great doctor. He knows what he’s doing. He put my femur bone back together for almost 4 years ago and I broke my prosthetic hip. He’s a great doctor highly recommend him.
