That was the best medical visit I've had for my knees in 5 years. I have been walking on cloud 9 since my visit. I had my A-1 C checked today and it's at 5.7. Yippee!!

Very professional and nice. Very detailed in his explanation. He added different information that other doctors did not mention. Didn't seem to want to look at my list of 5 years of pain and how often my hip went out. He did however make a copy and put it in my file. Very happy with my pain level now that I received a cortisone shot.

I had total knee replacement surgery. Dr Pokerney was my surgeon. He was very responsive to my questions and my surgery went great. He recommended using the RomTech which made my healing process going more quickly. I highly recommend him

I was very apprehensive to have surgery. I found out I needed a hip replacement. Dr. Pokorney was highly recommended to me by physical therapists both at clinics and the hospital. These are the people who see the surgeons work. When I met Dr. Pokorney, I felt at ease about the surgery. Surgery and recovery went great and I walk normal again! ORA is a very professional and efficiently run business. Dr Pokorney is a great doctor and is very friendly as well. I highly recommend him.

Just had revision surgery on my total knee replacement. Dr. Pokorney provided fantastic care both before and after surgery. Saw me before and after surgery and made sure I understood the complete process and that I had plenty of time to ask questions and had everything answered before he left. His support staff was also unbelievable. Nothing was an imposition and answers were provided very timely. If you need knee surgery, you would be well advised to visit Dr. Pokorney and experience for yourself a feeling of total confidence in a positive medical and support outcome. Dr Pokorney is an excellent doctor. He explained the results of my bone scan in a way that I could understand. He gave me different options for treating my knee and decided to do surgery. I told him that I have tried everything else to get relief but I couldn’t get any relief. His staff was very nice as well!

I came into to see Dr. Pokorney for my right knee pain. He had replaced my left knee seven years ago and I was very pleased with outcome of it, so i decided if I need another replacement he would be the one. He was very pleasant and took time to explain things and to listen to me also. Very important. He gave me choices , not just 'surgery'. I went with trying another option and I am very pleased. ORA has multiple doctors with multiple specialists. This visit was for my knee. Dr Pokorney and staff were friendly and helpful.

If you’re looking for someone who listens to you, answers your questions and makes you part of the decision team, you want this guy. I was pleasantly surprised that he did all three since most doctors I’ve seen didn’t.

He discussed my xrays and was very helpful with a knee brace.

I’ve been coming to the OR now for quite some time, and I never had a problem with them. Front desk is very professional and Dr. Pokorney is very Good at what he does. I had a total knee replacement without any complications. So I am giving the ORA score of five… A big thanks to all.

So I had my surgery today, full hip replacement, it was completed around 11:00 this morning. Dr. Pokorney and his staff at ORA and at Trinity Point in Bettendorf are amazing. Professional, friendly, every last one of them. Thank you. 7 hours after surgery and I'm at home enjoying myself, pain free, for the first time in 4 or 5 years. I can't even begin to express my appreciation for what they have done for me. Also, if you're on the fence about the game ready ice machine, just get it. Only downside for me was my insurance. They won't pay for it. Cost is around $170.00 fot 10 days. Well worth it IMO.

I couldn't be happier with my surgery. Everything went smoothly and professionally. I am now fully recovered and back to normal. I am sooo very happy. Dr. Pokorney did a wonderful job. My leg was one inch shorter then the other and I walked with my foot out due to a broken foot many years ago. They were able to straighten and lengthen my leg. Now I walk totally straight and I have less pain in the hip and back. I had my surgery 6 weeks ago and have finished my therapy. My pain is down to a 2. I would recommend Dr Pokorney to anyone. He is very easy to talk to and has a great bedside manner. I could not be any more happy. THANK YOU.

I cannot recommend Dr. Pokerney enough! He came in the room with a positive/kind attitude and was very helpful in offering options for my problem and steps we can take to relieve the pain and work on a plan of action. He treated me with respect, which I appreciated. The reception area, the X-ray gal, the nurses and PA who gave me my injections were all stellar. ORA, Northwest Boulevard, Davenport, Ia has a well run organizational set up!

He is good at letting you decide if surgery is the right option for you. He doesn’t push surgery for your hips. He explains all your questions you have. I trust him for my doctor.

I went into Clinton Urgent Care ORA after having some knee problems for a few weeks. Everyone from the receptionist up to Melanie the PA was very kind and caring. Came up with a plan until I could get in to see Dr. Pokorney. Once again the visit was very smooth and I felt extremely comfortable with Dr. P. He gave me the options and let me decide what I wanted to do and how fast. By mid November I was having my knee replaced. He was very professional and caring and I never felt rushed. When I did have an issue I could talk to the Clinton office and they got in contact with him and was able to change the plan of action. I highly recommend Dr. Pokorney and his staff and the ORA facility.

I was very happy with my first visit with Ryan Pokorney at ORA. X-rays were really fast and were shared right in the exam room. The office runs like a well oiled machine. I am anxious to have my hip replacement surgery as soon as I can. Everyone in the office is very personable.

Faculty was extremely nice. We arrived 45 minutes early and they were running ahead of schedule. Staff and Doctor were professional and caring. Will be receiving a hip replacement after Christmas.
