Ryan was very friendly and professional. I was an add in to be checked on since I was worried about my hip replacement. Ryan put me at ease assuming me all was fine and very understanding about my fears.

Dr. Pokorney was great! He listened attentively to my issues and when an MRI showed major problems with my hip, he helped me realize a total hip replacement really was my best choice to be free of the pain and still live an active life. I’m happy to say, seven weeks out now from surgery, my new hip is strong and healing well. I’m amazed at how small the incision actually was and am thankful to Dr.Pokorney and his staff for their help before surgery and checking in on me after. His assistant Dan, is also very good ! My wife saw Dr Pokorney on October 1, 2026 for pain in her right knee that had been replaced in 2012. Dr Pokorney listened to her explanation of the ongoing pain she's been dealing with and offered possible soloutions. She was also having pain in both of her hips and he offered her injections for bursitius. Dr Pokorney was very caring, took time to listen, and explained things very well. I would highly recommend him.

I had a five month follow up for my total knee replacement. Everything checked out great. I was released from PT after 11 weeks from the procedure with no restrictions. I cannot recommend Dr Pokorney highly enough!

I was referred to Dr. Pokorney by my physical therapist for a problem with my right knee. He had Xrays taken and then sat down with me to discuss my knee. Dr. Pokorney was patient and attentive as I explained the problem.. He informed me that I had bad arthritis in my knee and the outside of the knee was bone on bone. He told me the options which included an injection, more PT, and surgery. His recomendation was an injeciton with PT. I received the injection that day and am now continuing PT. The knee has improved greatly. I give Dr. Pokorney my higest endorsement.

I am an active 71-year-old who had put off having a knee replacement for 3 plus years. Then a gardening accident 4 months prior to my full knee replacement surgery did me in. Dr. Pokorney looked at the MRI and said, 'You need a knee replacement sooner rather than later.' Plans were made for the surgery to take place 2 months later.At the pre-op appointment, Dr. Pokorney patiently answered all my questions. He knew I was an active woman who enjoys cycling, hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and gardening. He replaced my right hip 5 years prior and now it was time to replace my right knee.After the surgery, I was matched up with a Physical Therapist at ORA who is a cyclist. And this worked out well.

Dr. Pokorney answered all of my questions patiently and kindly. He and his scheduler took care to understand my work and personal commitments and help tailor a care plan for surgery that is most likely to accommodate those demands. Although they must have many conversations like mine every day, I felt treated with care and as an individual; not rushed through a process.

I had a great appointment with Dr. Pokorney. He showed me the current x-ray of my hip size-by-side with the x-ray from 3 years ago. He explained that arthritis causes bone spurs and cysts, and answered all questions. Next time I see him, I’ll likely schedule a hip replacement…the replacement he did 3 years ago in my other hip has worked out great!

I had an outstanding experience with Dr Pokorney. I had some issues with some pain and swelling in my left hip a little over a year after having it replaced. It was determined that after an MRI I had some muscle tissue and abductor issues that need repaired. Dr. Pokorney repaired the issues and I am doing fantastic. Can not thank him enough for taking care of these issues for me. I highly recommend him and all the staff at ORA. They have all been outstanding and understanding of my situation.

I explained that my current leg braces were old and didn't fit properly and he said he would prescibe me new braces. We shook hands and he Sent in Amy the tech to measure my legs to fit me for the new braces. I couldn't have asked for a better visit, ORA Clinton is a well oiled machine. They treated me with respect. I highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Pokorney. I almost forgot there was no waiting at all. I was there for less than an hour.

I had a 3-week follow-up appointment with Dr. Pokorney after I twisted my knee while gardening in a rocky area. It had been 3 - 4 years since I had last seen him for irritation with this knee. I felt like he had reviewed my x-rays and medical records before entering the exam room at my recent appt. He listened to my concerns with respect to what lies ahead with the health of my knee for an active senior.
