Dr Boardman is the finest. He listens and cares during an office visit. He always asks for the patient' s input also. I highly recommend him for any orthopedic needs.

Went to see Dr due to knee pain. I have had some abnormal blood work by general practitioner that they just blew off and wanted to put me on pain meds. Dr Boardman referd me to a specialist to try and find the root cause of my abnormal blood work and cause of my pain rather than just mask it with pain meds. He seemed to really care about getting answers for me to help me get on a path to recovery.

I've been seeing Dr Boardman for over 15 yrs! He has done 3 surgeries on my knees and I am very satisfied. He is so good at education I don't feel left in the dark about what's going to happen. Dr was on time for appointment, even with X-rays being taken first. Easy to understand & knowledgeable, to the point. Also asked if I had any questions.

The entire process of my hip replacement from the first visit to assess my pain, until the 6 week post-op visit was very professional. After my personal doctor recommended ORA and Dr. Boardman to me, the process went very smoothly. We began with x-rays, therapy, and a lot of conversation about the extent of pain, and whether it was improving or worsening. We determined that replacement was the best option. And I say we, because I was always a part of any decisions. I was well prepared for the replacement surgery the end of December, and was well cared for at by Unity Point Health and Dr. Boardman's team. I continue with stretching exorcises and movement seems to improve every day. I am blessed to have received such great care and would highly recommend Dr. Boardman and ORA.

Dr. Boardman explained my x-rays thoroughly and gave me options to control my shoulder pain. When in reality, my shoulder is perfect but my arthritic collar bone is not. I would recommend him as he is so pleasant to talk to.

I was having some pain and discomfort in my knee. I went to the ER and had testing done. I contacted ORA after getting the results of my tests, and was able to be seen by Dr. Boardman on very short notice. He was very thorough and explained things in a way that I could understand. The treatment he provided helped relieve my pain. He recommended a follow up appointment to be sure things were moving in the right direction. I would highly recommend Dr. Boardman.

My daughter fractured her collarbone and we were referred to Dr. Boardman. She brought a stuffed animal with her because she was nervous, and he asked what it's name was and played with it a little, and managed to make her laugh at a time when she was scared and in pain. It was obvious he was knowledgeable and experienced in his practice, as well as personable and fun. I would recommend him to anyone who has a nervous kid coming in.

I went to see Dr. Steve Boardman and elected to have an injection in my right shoulder due to ongoing rounds of pain. I feared the injection. But actually, even though there was discomfort during the injection, that all ceased once the needle was withdrawn. I am amazed actually there has been no further discomfort. Dr. Boardman made me a comfortable as possible and the treatment was very successful. I am left wondering how the area could feel so good after making me seek treatment. I am most pleased with the outcome!!

This doctor was great, and we were in and out quickly. The doctor was also very understanding.

Dr. Boardman and all of the ORA staff were amazing! My 7 year old broke his elbow and they all exhibited excellent patient care by explaining things so he could understand, letting him see his x-rays, and even walking him through the process of cutting off the casts so it wasn’t scary.
