The Quad Cities has a special relationship with legendary golfer, Tiger Woods, who nearly won his first PGA title at the tournament in 1996, before he lost to Ed Fiori in the final round.
Following Tiger’s most recent and tragic accident, local fans have been keeping a close eye on the developments surrounding Woods’ injuries. While his California doctors have stabilized Tiger and say his injuries are not life-threatening, the multiple fractures to his leg, ankle and foot have many worried about the seriousness of his injuries and how it may affect Tiger’s recovery.
