Seminar Information
Target Audience: Physicians, Physical and Occupational Hand Therapists, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners.
Purpose: To improve the system wide approach to common orthopedic problems and ensure improved communication and generate a cooperative relationship between PCPs, therapists, and orthopedic surgeons.
Objectives:
- Discuss graft options available for ACL reconstruction.
- Explain rationale for choosing surgical vs non-surgical management of ACL injuries.
- Review and explain reasoning behind some of the newer hot topics related to ACL reconstruction.
Physicians: This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Iowa Medical Society (IMS) through the joint sponsorship of Genesis Medical Center and ORA. Genesis Medical Center is accredited by the IMS to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Genesis Medical Center designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
